One site, several careers

Sofya Gollan works across film, TV, theatre and access coordination. Four disciplines, one person, one website.

The challenge was fitting a genuinely varied career into a site that still feels like one clear identity.

Industry: Film, television and theatre
Work: Website design and development

/ sofyagollan.com.au

The starting point: a known actress, stepping into a new title.

Sofya is a known actress who is deaf, and she came to us with nothing built yet. As well as showcasing her acting career, she wanted to establish herself in a new role: Access Coordinator, working on set to support deaf and disabled cast and crew.

The screen industry checks. A producer hears a name in a meeting and looks it up that night. Without her own site, the strongest version of Sofya's story lived scattered across other people's pages, and none of them told it the way she would.

The new role made it sharper. Access coordination is still a young discipline in Australian screen production, so the people hiring for it need a fast, clear explanation of what it involves and why Sofya is the person to do it. That explanation had to live somewhere she controls.

One identity, several doors in: Writer, Director, Access Coordinator.

The decisions that mattered

Bold, editorial
type and imagery

Feels like the industry she works in

Large type, high-contrast imagery and a confident layout give the site the same energy as a film credit sequence, rather than a generic freelancer portfolio.

Career and new title,
told as one story

Film & TV, Theatre, Access Coordinator, News

Each area of Sofya's work gets its own clear section: Film & TV, Theatre, Access Coordinator, News. The site introduces her Access Coordinator work with the same weight as her acting career, not as an afterthought.

A genuinely
creative, dynamic build

One of our most dynamic sites

Sofya is a creative, so the site needed to be one too. It's become one of our most dynamic and creative builds, conveying her personality directly.

What shipped: a front door for each career.

A portfolio site at sofyagollan.com.au with a clear section for every part of her working life. The Film & Television section holds an individual page per project, including Imagined Touch, Gimpsey, Preservation and Short Shorts, so a producer lands on the specific work that is relevant to them instead of scrolling one long, undifferentiated list.

The Access Coordinator page explains the role in plain language and makes the case for hiring Sofya in it, which matters when the role itself is still new to many productions. Theatre gets its own space. A News section gives her somewhere to post updates, so the site keeps moving between projects rather than freezing the day it launched. Contact is one click from anywhere.

Visually, the site runs on large editorial type, high-contrast stills and movement. It became one of the most dynamic builds Creative Baguette has shipped, because a safe, templated portfolio would have undersold exactly the person it was meant to represent.

The result: a site that conveys who she is.

Sofya was very happy with a website that shows her career, her expertise and her new role as an Access Coordinator, in a way that genuinely feels like her. When someone in the industry looks her up now, they find one confident answer instead of scattered fragments.

Questions this project usually raises

Can one website cover several lines of work?

Yes.

The trick is one clear identity with a separate section for each discipline, so every audience finds their door in without wading through the others.

I have years of work but nothing organised. Is that a problem?

No, that is the normal starting point.

You hand over what you have, in whatever state it is in, and we build the structure and the first version of the site from it. No homework spiral.

What does a portfolio website cost?

Landing pages start at $700.

Most small business websites land between $1,900 and $3,800, depending on how many sections and pages the work needs.
