Cyber security without the scare tactics

After signing up to business coaching, this IT provider realised their basic, generic website no longer reflected who they were.

They rebranded to True Blue IT and needed a site to match.

Industry: IT support and cyber security
Work: Logo and brand identity, website design and development, illustration and animation

/ trublueit.com.au

The starting point: generic, a little cartoonish.

The old site was a very basic business website with a cartoon-heavy visual style that no longer matched where the business was heading. They wanted something cooler, with a more distinctly Australian feel, and rebranded to True Blue IT to match.

IT is a strange industry to sell online. Most providers either drown visitors in acronyms or frighten them with breach statistics, and business owners have learned to distrust both. The people this business serves want one thing: someone who fixes the tech, explains it straight, and does not upsell them at every renewal.

So the website's job was tonal as much as visual. Every page had to sound like the calm, straight-talking provider they actually are.

Practical cyber security explained without noise, scare tactics or upsell pressure.

The decisions that mattered

A new logo,
a new name

Rebranded to True Blue IT

The rebrand to True Blue IT came with a completely new logo and identity, built around a modern, distinctly Australian tech feel.

Custom-drawn,
animated illustration

Elevated, not cartoonish

Rather than dropping the illustrated style entirely, we hand-drew and animated the elements, elevating the concept instead of discarding it.

Straight to a call
or a free audit

Low-friction next step

A phone number and a "Let's Talk" button sit together in the hero, alongside a free audit offer that gives a hesitant visitor a lower-commitment way in.

What shipped: a brand and a site that speak plainly.

The full True Blue IT identity: new name applied, new logo, and a set of hand-drawn illustrated elements that Creative Baguette animated for the site, so the brand kept its personality without the cartoonish feel of the old one.

The website itself is structured around how their clients actually think. Each core service gets its own clear page: cyber security, cloud and Microsoft 365, day-to-day IT support, and technology strategy, all written in plain English rather than vendor-speak. A story page explains how the business works and what it stands for, a blog gives them somewhere to publish practical advice, and an FAQ on the homepage answers the questions prospects always ask, including the awkward ones about contracts.

Conversion is deliberately low-pressure: the phone number and a "Let's Talk" button sit together in the hero, and the free audit offer gives hesitant visitors a smaller first step. Creative Baguette also hosts the site, so it stays fast and online without the client thinking about it.

The result: a brand that finally matches the business.

True Blue IT launched with a name, an identity and a website that sound like the provider they actually are: straight-talking, practical, and distinctly Australian. The site now carries their services, their story and their advice, and it does it without a single scare tactic.

Questions this project usually raises

Can you handle a rebrand and the new website together?

Yes.

Name, logo, identity and website work best as one project, so the new brand launches whole instead of arriving in pieces.

Our industry sounds technical. Can a website fix that?

It can go a long way.

We write the copy in plain language, structure the services so people recognise their own problem, and cut the jargon that makes visitors switch off.

What does a website like this cost?

Most small business websites land between $1,900 and $3,800.

Branding and custom illustration are quoted separately, based on scope.
